Hello, I’m getting an error when it is trying to install Active
Directory using dcpromo. Whenever it first starts to install it pops
up a message box saying "Error Joining Domain" and says "The server
cannot perform the requested operation." I’ve tried going through
the network ID & joining that way as well but I’ve had no luck (same
error). The computer does NOT exist in AD (it was showing a red X so
I deleted the object), and it still won’t work.

Also, I don’t know if this helps, but if i change the name of the
computer name while joining the domain it will accept me onto the
domain, but will error out on changing the computer name. Afterwards
it won’t let me log onto the domain / do any domain functions
(including install DCPromo). It then errors out on LDAP.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated!
