Anyone know if the nVidia 7950 GX2 requires an SLI enbled motherboard?

I emailed gigaByte about this already:

I'm looking at buying your 7950gx2 card and want to know it will work in one of your new p965 motherboards. I'm not sure if it requires an SLI enabled motherboard or not.

does the 965P board support SLI?
If it does it should be ok with this card

which isn't very helpful because no 965 boards support SLI

As long as it has a PCI-E slot, it'll work fine.

It's a one slot card... you'll be fine without an SLI mobo. Stupid Tech support.
