I have a pentium D 930, pumped the FSB up to 234, Im up to 3.51ghz and running at 20c idle and system temp is idle 40c. Im using the BlueOrb 2, its a monster.

I tried to DL motherboard monitor 5, but I cant find my Abit aw8d on the list.

Does this temp sound right?

Also how can I run it full load to test if the temp is right and going up on full load?

If you're using an aftermarket heatsink, it's probably is right. Use the Abit uGuru utility to monitor temps. Everest Home Edition works as well.

Temps sound too good to be true for a BlueOrb 2. As already stated, Everest will give you a wealth of info, and has good monitoring. Run Prime 95 to load CPU... You'll need to run 2 instances to work both cores. GL

Everest also says about 20c idle. (room is hot at the moment)

Running 2x of cpu burn programs, 100% cpu usage after about only 10min I top out at 35c

he could just have a perfect seating of his heatsink and some really good thermal paste like AS 5...... i must admit though, they do sound a little too low especially given the OC he has on that 930.
