Well Im not an asus fan, quite the contrary, however make sure you get a board with a chipset heatpipe. I have a MSI nforce550 and it gets so hot you cant even touch it. If you plan to up the fsb to overclock, its going to run even hotter. Those little heatsinks like on that gigabyte will get smoking hot, literally.
But, I'm not sure if you wanted to go with the one form the Gigabyte site or the one you posted from Newegg.
I am really not familier with the nforce 4 series, so I don't really have a suggestion.
the gigabyte which you are are referring is GA-M59SLI-S5 costs 200$ but the gigabyte I can buy is GA-M59SLI-S4 , the difference between them the heap pipe and S5 has better audio codec and it works with 4 phases while S4 is nforce 590 sli chipset and 3 phases and costs 100$ while the asus costs same price and it based on nforce 570 ultra chipset, with 100$ you get nforce 590 sli chipset and nice feature, I think the gigabyte is good choice ?
The Asus based on nforce 570 sli chipset costs 150$
so still my choices between ASUS nforce 570 ultra and the gigabyte nforce 590 sli which are same price
