AMD Price Cuts July 24

These guys are pricing AMD motherboard bundles if you want them now or after july 24th. Looks like some pretty good price cuts forthcoming for those wanting some idea of how much they can save in a couple weeks......

Does this mean prices for AMD chips on Newegg will fall on July 24th also?

I wish I could remember where to find the price cut list... looking at the x2 4000+ with 1 MB L2 cache.

Also, I hope that giant typhoon in the Pacific doesn't hit Taiwan... may be bad for RAM prices among other things.

All 1MB cache products are EOL and will not be seeing a price cut. AMD decided to phase them out because the extra cache increases costs and really does not offer a huge performance gain.

Really? Dangit! Well I really thought getting 1 MB L2 cache would be a really smart move.

What about the nforce 590 chipset over the nforce 570? It is about $50 or so more.

Anyway, back on topic, how come they won't coincide with July 26th, which is the relase of Conroe, right?

Are there any price lists for the cuts compared to Conroe. That would really help me.
