Hi,

Can someone help me on buying a waterblock for my XFX 6600 videocard. I use the Bigwater 745 watercooling system. Is this one good Danger Den DFI Expert MAZE4? Anyway I know the Bigwater 745 uses 3/8" tubing but I don't know if this waterblock is compatible with my videocard (If it has the proper holes)

Thanks

When you add the item to the cart it shows the 3/8" fittings so you should be fine... they only have one left though so I'd call them to be sure it's actually in stock before ordering.

Ok... So I guess it is compatible with my videocard... I mean it can be hooked to my 6600? It has the right hole fore the screws or I have to buy an adapter?

HOLY SH!T, I didn't even look at the actual water block, just checked whether it had 3/8" fittings.... sorry dude my bad.

What you actually want is this...

http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-189.html?mv_pc=246
or

http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-286.html?mv_pc=267
or

http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-124.html?mv_pc=291

That last one is expensive but will also cool your ram instead of having to get separate ram heat sinks.

If the product doesn't come with 3/8" fittings then get a couple of these.

Before ordering just email their sales staff with what you plan to buy and they will tell you what you need. They are pretty helpful, I just received my order from them last week.

Haha :?....

When you told me it was good in your first post, I went on FrozenCPU and bought it. But I think I bought it too fast haha!... So I contacted them but they can't cancel my order because it has already been shipped (Geez they're fast 8O ). So I asked them I they offered refunds but they just offer replacement or repair. Anyway as soon as I get it I'll sell it on eBay. I hope I'll be able to get at least the half of my money. Anyway, it's not your fault, it's mine. I'm too fast for ordering things on the internet :p

Really sorry about that man... I don't like how they mix the chipset and vga blocks onto one page.

Actually since you ordered already you can use it on your chipset, which is what it's meant for. Not sure if your northbridge has a fan on it or not but those suckers can get hot and loud. What motherboard do you have?

Also, do you think it will be too much for my Bigwater 745 if I have a chipset waterblock, a VGA one and off course the one for my processor?

Actually I'm not really sure if it will or not but you can try... typically there are only two screws holding on a chipset fan which are diagonal from each other.... might as well see if it fits... won't hurt much.

There are a lot of overclockers that use that DFI board so I think you'll be able to sell it quick if you need to.

It might be a close thing with a chipset block as well... That's a better system than the SE though so it might handle it.
