How to push out icon via Active Directory?

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.active_directory (More info?)

It it possible to push out an internet shortcut icon to my domain users'
desktops using active directory, and associate it with a .ico image?

In the past I've done it using a manual script to deploy the icon, but I'd
like to automate it now. Any ideas? Thanks anyone...............

Not sure that you can do this. I might suggest that you do a search in both
this NG as well as the Group Policy. This question seems to be asked a
lot.....
