It appears maybe the E6600 overclocks the best.

Looks like the E6600 may overclock better then the E6700. Anandtech got 4.0 ghz on air! They also mention that though the X6800 does not oc as well as the E6600 and E6700 that it also allows for a more stable environement for your other components since you don't have to OC the front side buss as much to achieve the oc, if I read this correctly.

I'd not take that sample of one and assume that all E6600's will clock better than a E6700 but it certainly looks like the E6600 could be pushed a long way with some water cooling :twisted:

Yeah, and you can crank the FSB(X6800) to the limit and maintain the default speed. ie: 418x7=2926. :D

1. The chips are really fast @stock frequencies
2. The chips can be pushed real far on stock cooling
3. With water cooling who knows what the limit would be!?
I'm geussing it won't be long until these things are tested to the max. Overclockers are biting at the bits to get their hands on these things and push them as far as they'll go.
