I am going to london to buy a new pc with an AM2 soocket and i want to employ a watercooling system.

The MoBo i will use is Asus M2n32-sli deluxe so i don't think i will need the chipset block, also i can't afford two Gpu blocks so i'm dropping them too.
So i'm looking for a sole cpu watercooling kit for about 100$.

I was looking at the thermaltake 735 cl which i found for about 90$ in www.specialtech.co.uk but i don't know if they support the am2 socket.

If anyone knows the answer or has a better solution please Help!!!

I bought all my watercooling kit from Alphacool and I've been really impressed with the quality and performance considering I picked all the individual parts rather than buying a kit, they now sell pre-assembled systems which a friend purchased and says he's had zero problems.

Take a look here:

or perhaps... (can't vouch for this one)

Watercooling is great - if you kow how to do it. Do you know how?

OK, onto your question. The Thermaltake is a decent kit, but since it has the three 120mm fans it may be tough to configure with your case. Ask RichPLS about the Thermaltake - he has a relatively unique implementation. Kingwin's Aquastar AS-3000 is good as well, although the silver color scheme of the front panel will look like crap in a non-matching case.

Onto your other question. I don't believe that there is an AM2-compatible liquid cooling system available. AMD decided to change the more extreme heatsink mount, which I believe was a good move, as 4 posts on all 4 corners are more secure than 2 posts on 2 sides, but it eliminates 754/939 coolers from being used on the new platform.

Since you want to invest in a liquid cooler, why don't you wait on it. Get your system working and see what the temperatures are. You may find that you won't need it. And if you wait, H20 coolers will be released for the new socket, so I wouldn't worry.

And you are going to use UV-reactive coolant/tubing and put in some UV cathodes, right?

I wish we had better access to alphacool in north america... I had to wait 3 months to get this reservoir...

Here's a pic of it in my system.

They make great products and I might have used more if I had better access to them.
