I'm a water treatment technician. Work as a municipal employe in waste water treatment. Very computerised plant: "poseïdon" under "QNX". Work with 3 controle screens in control room plus many PLC panels and my favorite: teh pc with twin T1 internet connection (but this is a paradox since it is but a p-100, 16Meg).

Don't see why not!

He's in a dead end job, earning hardly anything, making every mistake you could possibly make in life, yet he has a nice house, A wife and kids that love him despite his shortcomings. He's the greatest!

Self employed general contractor.

So basically what that means is one day I might be setting tile, the next day ,running heavy equipment, and the next, framing a house.

Keeps me from getting bored. Although I went to school to be an accountant. But could not take being in an office every day. I NEED to be outside. That is where I'm happiest.

I aint signing nothing!!!

Thanks buddy, I sure don't feel old either. There are so many thing that I want to accomplish since my children are all grown. It like I'm a kid all over again. Oh BTW, you aren't the only one who loves to fish. I'm a Bass fisherman here in TX., but I always wanted to catch a Pike...lol. No pikes here only up north.

You ever played Trophy Bass 4, w/all the lakes loaded? I play on-line sometimes in tourney's to win prizes. But in real life I catch my limit most of the time. I'm decent enough so to speak, that if I had to survive on nothing else but fish, then I would have to go on a diet.

Old Bear you should not think of yourself as the oldest but the WISEEST (sp?). I'm not 40 yeard old . I'm 40 years young. Most of the work I do is in and arround nursing homes, so it is the state of mind that counts. If you think of yourself as old you will feel and become old. My father-in-law turns 75 this year, and finally decided to just work part time. It's not that he needs to work, but says that it keeps him young.

Mental attitude is the key. I now have 2 grandchildren and another on the way and it is hard for me to get accustomed to being calledd GRANDPA.

Reply to Rick_Criswell

Thanks for the pep talk! My wife is 7 years younger than me and that helps.

Today my second oldest daughter gave birth to her first; a 7 lb. 0 oz, 19 inch healthy baby girl born 3/27/2002, 12:30 EST. This is my 4th grandchild. I am one happy man! Sent my wife to FL to be there with her as I listened to the birth (first cry) over the phone while at work.
