hello, im alan, i have a really old computer and now im tryin' to build a new computer for gaming with a 500$ budget. im kinda of a noob at this computer stuff but i know a thing or two. im used to buying a computer but i heard from my friend building a new computer would be cheaper. do you think i should wait for intel core duo?
uhh.... i originally suggested the 3500+..... unless you meant to say swap the 3500 for the 3200.
Edit: No, they aren't virtually the same speed.... there's a 200Mhz difference. I say give him the extra 200Mhz with the 3500+ and if he wants more speed, he can overclock from there. There's only a $10 difference between the 2 chips anyway.
hmm really? well that sounds good to me, but i was thinking about 1 GB RAM cause i play a lot of games and i have a lot of stuff to put on this new computer. im 16 but not sure if i could get a job with school and crap
