I'd like some feedback on what people think of the Canon PIXMA iP1000.

Can someone recommend a website that I can always reference to get
reviews?
But... asking in a newsgroup will always get more honest answers! :)

How many pages will I get from each cartidge?
What are the alternative make ink cartridges like?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

What are you intending to use it for? You are unlikely to get any personal
experience comments here, as most people who hang out at printer usegroups
wouldn't have such a cheap 'thow away' printer. My gut feeling is that if
you care enough to enquire about reviews, you care enough to get a better
quality printer (the IP3000, or IP4000 for instance)

Canon i350 should be similar or identical to IP 1000. Canon i450 seems to be
like IP 1500 as well.
