Dell X50 wireless access/internet explorer?

I have Qwest dsl/MSN with an actiontec dsl modem with Wireless gateway, I
use wep, I can see that it is connected under wlan utilities Site, but when
I go to Internet explorer, it say can not connect. What am I overlooking?
