Hello everyone.
I have a few online and few shutdown/gone NT 4.0 domain controllers in Mixed
Windows 2000 domain what is the best way to take them off from the network
and whole entire AD enchilada.
It is too late for me to ask my bosses to spend any money on a third party
product to do this job.( i havenot planned about it.so cant's ask now)

When i tried to remove the account from Domain controllers containers, AD
spits a error warning, Can't be deleted.

I have multi domain, single forest, both mixed mode, parent child relationship
between domains.
Need some specifics,let me know.

Thanks A TON

Hi Dan,
thanks for your time and rsponse. Since one old domain was still in the mix
i went to server manager and deleted the accounts from there and it
rtefelected fine in AD, ..so now i have only one domain controller left which
is on NT 4.0 ( obviously rest are win2k) if i use adsiedit...how many places
do i have t o delete this account for completly taking it off from the
database?
