No, that would be fine, but I have a better idea for you. Sell the RAM and CPU and get DDR2-667(or 800) RAM and a Conroe CPU which will blow the 965 to next week.

Thanks guys. Actually the additional items were purchased for me so I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth and ask for something different :). As for the card yes it is actually a 7800gtx and I fixed it in my original posting.

Thanks again for the suggestion on the memory. I'll try to do that. :)

Changes. How about these instead? The site I was ordering from ran out of the mobo and a few other items:

Antec Performance I P180 Silver 0.8mm cold rolled steel for durability through the majority of chassis, 1.0mm cold rolled steel around the 4x HDD area ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply

ASUS P5WD2 Premium Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 955X ATX Intel Motherboard

Dell in the past used odd ball connection for the PS to MB. Need to verify that it has 2.0 compliant ps and connector (24 pin).

He's getting a new psu and a new mb.. no compatibility issues....

The changes look fine but you really don't need that much power... a 550w or 600w would work just as well (probably still more than you need).

Remember to reinstall windows as it won't work with the new processor and motherboard.

You say that now. I neithbor had a compaq and the PS was an odd ball size. A new one wouldn't fit the case. Hopefull every thing will fit with out any problems.
