Internet Sharing

I have a great network up and running using a laplink network cable= USB-USB. It's running great and it doesn't have the little stupid problems which a lot of network cards have such as the fact that the card won't activate, it won't run or it simply is screwed up one way or the other because there simply is no network card. But now i have a slight problem with internet: i want to share one internet connection without having to buy a router or a hub. Could anyone please help me out here? And NO I will not replace my Laplink Cable because it's the best network system I have ever come across!

After having written this little post I came across a program called Washer, which enabled me to set up a server and a client without expensive hardware. However is there a way to limit bandwidth to clients?
