g1975x and 7950 GX2

I know the g1975x is not on Nvidas compatibility list for the 7950 GX2 but has anyone got a system with these working well together.

I cannot seem to get the system to break 4000 in 3dmark 05 and suspect this is the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
