BOXD975. No Question. Wondering why you need and intel board though. Tom review this board very well, but DFI just came out with a new one that looks totally money. I really like mine too (gigabyte g1-975x). which ever way you go, def get the 975x chipset. can't be beat.

I have the g1975x but its not on the compliance list from Nvidia for the 7950 GX2.

So far my system can only manage 3600 on 3dmark 05.

3Ghz 930 Intel CPU
G1975x Gigabyte MB
Gigabyte 7950 GX 2
2GB Adata 667 DDR2 Ram

I suspect the MB Graphics card combo is the problem so am looking at alternative boards

Taking everything into consideration, if you're not going to overclock, it's hard to beat an Intel board, and that BOXD975 is a good one.

That Asus 975x is killer but question when does the new nvidia chipset for conroe comeout? And will it be the the berrys? Because you will need that nvidia chipset if you ever want to do sli with the 7950 GX2 that is when nividia thinks we are capable of doing it lol.
