It's been just over a year now, and I'm starting to have problem with the DC power plug on my Gateway. (3018GZ)

Right now, I have to hold the power plug in place, applying a little pressure, with a big rubber band, in order to maintain power.
It seems like the center pin is loose, and doesnt always maintain contact.

I took a quick look at the inside of that area, and it appears to NOT be an easy replace.

Has anyone had this problem, have suggestion, and/or drawings for replacing this component?
