I'm building my first computer to take to college this fall. I'm on a $1,000-$1,300 budget. I would like to stay near the $1,000 mark. I've done some research and extensive looking and have come up with the following parts.

As you can see I have not figured out what ram, moniter, powersupply, or optical drives I plan on getting. If you could please help me by listing any suggestions that would be much appreciated. And if you could tell me if I could change any of the above items that would be appreciated as well .
