How do I alter the tombstone lifetime

aHi, I'm trying to recover the corrupted DS on a test server following a
power glitch.

Ntdsutil tells me the database is corrupted but recover and repair fail with
DBInitializeJetDatabase error 1030. I've got a sys-state back but it's from
January and when I try to restore from this it fails because of the 60 day
tombstone.

I've read in KB article 216993 that the tombstone value can be changed in
the DS config object, but I can't figure how to get in to do it. I'm in DS
recovery mode but adsiedit won't connect - because the database is corrupt I
guess. Any help would sure be appreciated.

Check out

for a VbScript on how to change the tombstone lifetime.
