Windows 2000 with Citrix Meta Frame -Active Directory Snap..

Lately we have been getting the following error when try to open the Active
Directory for User Snap-in. When the error comes up whether I use the Citrix
window or on the server console, I would get the error. The workaround is to
reboot the machine and then I can run the snap-in again.

Active Directory window:
Naming information cannot be located because:
The authentication mechanism is unknown.
Contact your system administrator to verify that your domain is propertly
configured and is currently online.

I checked the DNS and it resolved the domain.com addresses properly even
when I get the above error. After reboot, I can edit the Group Policy so I am
not sure if the 2 tech notes I found re the DNS lookup and Security policy
applies to my case.
