I'm in the process of upgrading my system. I was thinking about one of these AM2 boards. What do you guys think about it. I've herd mostly good things about it. I have a A8N-SLI Deluxe right now, so if its on the same line as that i'd be a happy gamer. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I would look on some of the big sites for reviews of AM2 motherboards.

Its fairly new, so you can probably find some article that compares overclocking ability, stability, temps, features, and everyhting else

An article like that would be much more helpful then a forum, because as much as the people here know, they arent going to write 22+ pages with pictures....

I remember seeing an article like that, but I diddnt read it, sorry

try anandtech... I think thats where I saw it, but dont be pissed if its not there.... I go to alot of sites and they all kinda blend together.

good luck!!

I have an M2N-SLI deluxe, had it for a little less than a month. It's great, very stable. It has a good layout, very easy to work with for a first-time builder. I don't really have any complaints about things that really hinder my opinion.

The heatpipe will cause problems if you put the motherboard in a case that mounts it upside down, like on the Lian Li PC-V series. Normal cases, like the Coolermaster Centurion or the Lian Li PC-60, will work fine.

It's not a great overclocker's board, but I think my RAM may be holding it back. I got Corsair's XMS2 DDR2-800, but with Cas 5 timings, not Cas 4. And since AMD's memory controllers are more sensitive to Cas latency than Intel's chips, it may not be overclocking as well. But since my CPU is running sort of hot and it's in the middle of summer, I'm not going to worry about it.

Other than that, it's been perfect. My friend bought one, and he loves it. My other friend is also buying one, and I have a hunch he'll love it too.
