Disableing Vsync

Ok I play Alien versus predator 2 and I use fraps to display my FPS. Obvouisly vsync is enabled because with my 9250 its limited to 75 FPS. Just installed my 800 xl and its still at 75. Im useing rivatuner and I can not find where to disable vsync at all. Is there a different utility out there that will be a bit more simple?

Someones gotta know how to do this. Its kinda ridcoulas I know this cards potential is 300+ for avp2 and i cant get it passed 95

Does the game have a framerate cap? Doom3 is by default capped at 60FPS.

What do you need 300 fps for anyway? Just leave it on, otherwise you'll have tearing.

are you perchance using an 12ms LCD monitor?

OP: just enjoy the game. Dont worry about what the fps are as long as it is playable.

do you have some monitor you stole from the government that can refresh that often???

no. I've just seen a lot of (supposed) 12ms LCDs that run at (supposed) 75htz refresh at native res.

If he's got one of those then he is capped at 75fps no matter what he does.

where'd you get 300mhz from? you can cook a pigeon off the radiation of that!

uh... 300 hertz, not megahertz.

hertz it's funny, mhz it's scary 8) 300mhz would be 300,000,000fps. which would make your monitor a photon cannon.

I was running low on Vault at that point, and really diddnt want to scroll AALLLLL the way up to the post I was refering to. I cant function correctly without a few gallons of caffiene running through my system :lol:
