god, learn to type in blocks. dont hit enter when u feel like it.

    anyways.

i think ur talkin about dust filters??..i hope.

anyways the Sonata II is a good case.
  2. hey i put a few question marks and periods in there.
man im glad i dont have to write this shistuff.
you would reallly blow a gasket.

but anyway the sonata has a pretty good filter huh?
cool, i am kinda sick of cleaning my pc.
everyone likes to come in the room
and fire up the ol lefthanded cig.
    lol.
  3. I agree with Pengwin -- the way you write your posts are annoying. :x

But I will be kind and answer your question. You do not need to buy a case with built-in filters, just go to the Wal-Mart and buy some dry Swiffer pads and cut them to whatever size you need. It'll be cheaper and better than most other solutions.

    see, much more pleasing.

btw, im not trying to be mean. just letting u kno its annoying, constructive criticism.

    anyways your question.

the swiffer pads would get more dust but also slow air flow.
  5. True, but the dust would be stopped.

Ya know what, since I'm in the mood, why doesn't he just submerge his old computer in cooking oil? Or hell, to really stop the dust and silence it without some smelly and gooey oil, just fill the case up with spray on foam insulation. Problem solved!

    Charcoal filters? :?

I looked at every case that claimed to have a filter over the last year. I concluded that none of them with filters are all that good. The Sonata's filter is OK - it works and can be cleaned, etc., but it's just too small. The TT Armors have filters that cover more surface area but they are a real pain to clean. Etc., etc. - no real winner in this regard. If you like the overall features of the Sonata, you may as well go that way but I recommend developing a system to help you remember to clean the filter regularly or it will plug and your case temps will rise.
  7. ok, thanks for the input guys.
