Is the ~$20 price difference between the 550 and the 570 justified in performance? I don't really understand the differences in them. (I'm not talking about SLI ones)

probably the architecture in design and layout. Not even a little difference, but If you are talking about the SLI, thats a whole different story :twisted:

The only real thing that I can remember is that the nForce 590 has 48 PCIE lanes vs the 570's 24, and 9 PCIE links vs the 570's 5-6. If memory serves correctly the 570 vs the 550 is supposed to be slightly more OC friendly, although neither are supposed to have the capabilities of the 590.

Personally, if I were to build a AM2 system, I wouldnt settle for anything other than a 590 board, but thats me, however, I'm starting to think about switching camps and heading on over to conroe(for the time being anyhow).
