My S630 was excellent for more than three years. Now the feed grabs more
than one sheet at a time, occasionally much more (I've done the paper
things - fanning, different type, etc).
I'm leaning towards the iP4000. It will generally print text, from a few, to
a few tens of, pages a day, usually on 80gsm uncoated paper.

Derek, I have had one of these for several months and am delighted with it and
your usage sounds like a good fit for the printer's functionality.
I would suggest that you make sure you print a small colour image once or twice
a week to keep the colour printheads well 'oiled'. This is good advice for any
inkjet printer by the way, I'm not suggesting that Canon has a unique problem.
