I'm building a conroe system with an XFX 7950gx2 graphics card but I can't find any motherboards other than the intel 975xbx revision 304 that support both of them. Does anyone know of another motherboard that supports both?

ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe could be your best bet, if you don’t want to go with Intel, a lot of people say with the latest BIOS it does support a 7950 vid card, although i'm 10 percent unsure about that, i have my doubts, since the Dude from ASUS tech support said this board does not support this vid card.
Well no matter what, i think i'm getting the ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe myself, and probably if it don't work out with my 7950 i will just get the Intel Bad Axe 304.
I like the ASUS since it OC's better than the Intel board. Then again, the Intel board can handle 2 CF vid cards and one added Physics card. I dont' think the ASUS motherboard can handle 3rd PCI-E physics card. Also the ASUS card does not have a parallel printer port... (You'd need to get an add-on card for that printer port if you absolutely need it)
The 965P boards shouldn't need a BIOS update..... the 975X ones probably will though. If you're in to overclocking though, go for a 975X board, they seem to have more overclocking potential.
I believe most 975 boards shipping from manu has latest BIOS, but some retailers may have old stock with out update current, but quite a few retailers will update the BIOS before shipping if requested, some for free, others for a fee...

As for now I don't see any other alternative for Intel Bad Axe which could support both conroe and 7950GX2
I could wait for Nvidia based MB from ASUS which will probably will have it. But don't know for how long (may be mid-August...)
ps Although somebody claimed that ASUS p5w dh deluxe work with 7950gx2 - it seems that it works in a single videcard mode.

Yup single vid card mode until you flash latest bios and install the nVidia drivers. at least that is what people have been telling me, and i trust them, since they have the rigs built and working, so 'im getting the ASUS board 100 percent for sure , no doubt about it

I would prefer link to official ASUS or NVIDIA site with this information rather than rumors... If something will go wrong you will be left with your problems alone, no any support from ASUS
