x800xt with 1680x1050 resolution

Im concidering purchasing a viewsonic vx2025wm. I currently have an ati x800xt, and i checked the resolution options and 1680x1050 (the viewsonics native resolution) is not an option. Is there a possible way to get the card to run this resolution?

It is an option, it will probably autodetect once you plug in the monitor.

Alright i just wanted to make sure the x800xt would run that resolution. It doesnt list it as compatible on their site either. It would kinda suck to spend 330 dollars to get something that i cant run at optimum quality.

Well they can't really list al the resolutions now can they?

Anywhoo, it'll work, even if the viewsonic doesn't autodetect correctly, as I mentioned is an issue sometimes, you can easily make it work. And the problem would be viewsonic's not ATi/nV's so it's the money on the LCD that would be wasted, not on the card.
