I am about to buy a H-P DeskJet 6840 for wireless use. I do very little
printing, copying a few e-mails each week and a few photo's. Opinions
please pro & con. This group is where the experts lurk. Thank-you in
advance for your help. Og in Dallas

HP is probably the best choice for such light use because the print head
is attached to the cartridge. There are fewer clogging problems with HP
printers.

I would say the HP design with integrated head and cartridge is a good
idea for people who do low to moderately ow output because the heads
tend to be less likely to clog, and at worse, they are removable, can be
cleaned easily and replaced with a new cartridge of ink, when required.

Cost of ink becomes less of an issue for people who use their printers
only a few times a week.
