ok motherboard looks like this (Abit AN8 32X):

Pin 1 = MIC2 L
Pin 2 = AGND
Pin 3 = MIC2 R
Pin 4 = AVCC
Pin 5 = FRO-R
Pin 6 = MIC2_JD
Pin 7 = F_IO_SEN
Pin 8 = NC
Pin 9 = FRO-L
Pin 10 = LINE2_JD

Case is as such (has ear & mic wires - Tsunami VA3000):

Wire 1 = EAR R
Wire 2 = Return R
Wire 3 = EAR L
Wire 4 = Return L
Wire 5 = MIC IN
Wire 6 = MIC VCC
wire 7 = Ground

Can someone connect the dots plz :)

I'm wondering if the m/b doesn't have enough pis for both ear and mic???

Yup, take them off, but remember if you need to disconnect the front panel audio sometime in the future you need to put some jumpers back on there in the same spots. (But why would you disconnect it??? :) )

oh, this brings me to a question.

my front audio wont work. i plugged it into my mobo (there was a header for audio) but i have a SB Audigy 2 - OEM. no manual.

anyone know how to attach it to the sound blaster? i really hate plugging my headphones in the back everytime i wanna play a game.

D'oh!

The audio connectors on your motherboard will only work for the onboard audio. The audigy 2 value/OEM doesn't have the connectors you need to make an internal connection to the front audio.

So, its either pull out your audigy and throw it away,

or, maybe your speakers have a headphone jack on them that would be easier to get to....

or, connect a splitter cable and an extension lead to the speaker connector on the audigy.

Sorry Dude, you are shit out of luck otherwise

Even with the ZS, the only internal connectors it has are inputs, like AUX IN, and CD IN, etc.

The only outputs on the card are external.
