failed test knowsofroleholders

I am trying to upgrade to windows 2003 and it is failing with this message
ERROR: Failed to transfer the schema FSMO role: 52 (Unavailable).

On checking via dcdiag all test are passing except for knowsofroleholders

......................... SERVER failed test KnowsOfRoleHolders

The server has all 5 roles according to the GUI settings. Can anyone please
advise on how I can fix the knowsofroleholders error and if this will be
stopping the W2K3 adprep /forestprep error ?

Finally fixed the problem, after seizing the role several times!
