7600GT W/ my motherboard

My motherboard has an integrated video of ATI xpress 200. Im going to get a NVIDIA 7600gt pci-e. but i remeber reading somewhere that if ur motherboard has a video Chipset of ATI and you get a Nvidia card it would cause problems such as driver issues and stability problems, is this true? ~any advice would be appreciated
