Seeking recomendations on mods

Hi folks, a few quick mod-related questions if I may:

I'm currently using NPC Replace for face textures, is this the best of
these type of mods out there or would anyone recommend one of the others
about - there seem to be no end of these at
http://www.thelys.org/modlist.php. What happens if you have more than
one installed at once, does it get confused?

Does anyone have a link for "Tavern Ambience", I can't find it anywhere

I'm also running all the official mods plus the rather splendid Balmora
magic shop mod from LowGenius.com - what else would you recommend? I'm
more interested in things to bring the game world "to life" rather than
houses, extra quests etc.

If you're looking for atmospheric enhancements, you should check
http://mwsource.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2245 -- since that thread
died, there have been two excellent plugins that I know of that should be
tried out, both of which are accessible from the news at TheLys's site:
Lock Bashing Enhanced and Seasons.

Two mods which sound like exactly what you need are Morrowind Comes
Alive and NPC Schedules.
The first adds lots of NPC's in and about the towns, the second locks up
shops at night etc.

Best bet is to check out the official forums at www.elderscrolls.com
At the mods forum, do a search for Telesphoros and you'll find a mod
list, categorised, with descriptions and links to many of the best mods
out there, from graphical enhancements to NPCs, to quests, to TCs to
whatever you want :)

Sorry I don't have a direct link to his list, but it is updated fairly
regularly (like every two weeks)
