Nah, release 27th, and you might get them 2 or 3rd week of August, depending who you order from, and if any are left to order.
LOL. 8)
Well no matter i ordered my X6800 and i'm ordering the rest of the stuff tomorrow
so i'm all excited, one week here or there makes no difference to me.
Im shooting for a E6600 and then just goin to OC it. Toss on some nice water cooling and crank that FSB all the way up. My goal is between 415-450. It should be an interesting challenge. One problem, money.
E6600: $350 (give or take)
Mobo: $175-200
Ram: $450
Water Cooling: 500-600 (for a really good loop)
New Case: $300 (Old one is too small for 2 internal WC loops)
Price tag: ~$1900 = ridiculous lol.

That is a lot of money for sure, i've saved up for the last 4 years so i'm getting my moneys worth for sure this time around.

Ram: 2Gb (2x1Gb) DDR2 1066 at 4-4-4-15 (best timings made)
WC: Custom made loops have higher headroom, flow rate, and cooling capacity when compared to premade loops. I used to have a koolance one that sucked and I haven't found a premade loop that I like and will fit right.
Case: yup, you got it dead on a Lian Li case. It is the biggest case I have found that has the right configuration I want. Seperate heat zone, lots of 5 1/4 bays, I need the room because I want to run 2 independent loops one for the CPU and chipset and the other loops for dual GPU's.
Like I said, this is what keeps me sane when I'm an triple major lol (accounting, finance, MIS).

Overclockers in the UK are shipping tomorrow and have stock (of the E6300 in particular). Perhaps before posting all these stupid anti Intel / Mr super sceptic posts you might actually do some research?
Between you and the mindless 'go Conroe cos AMD needs to die die die yaya intel' idiots, it really becomes difficult to find decent posts here.
I tell you what the true test of whether any of these companies love you as much as much as you appear to love them..move out of your parents house, throw away all your money and then go ask them for a handout. I think you'll be surprised how little they care for you.

The word is that they pushed it back so they could launch Merom also, though Merom won't be available for awhile.
Also the AMD price drops have already happened. X2 3800+ is now available at VooDooPC for $149.

A friend of mine that is an OEM suppplier (small pc shop here in town) said he is ordering his tonight.
Antec P180 case for $120ish is awesome. Get a good PSU. Enermax Noisetaker series is nice so are many Antec's.
Dont get the fastest timings, you are wasting 200$. The performance difference is minor. Not exactly a bang for the bug smart idea.
If you are gonna spend $600 on H2O cooling, why not just go with Phase change/freon or something for that kinda money?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I thought it said, arriving on the 24th! So it could be ANYTIME in the week, which means Im going to have to spend the ENTIRE week, at home, waiting for the damn thing, and it might not come to next Monday!? I just spent £1,100 - the most money ever in one go for me, I want the bloomin thing tomorow!!
Yes I was an idiot for not reading that properly, but I'm dyslexic ok, dont laugh at me

My PSU rules the world at this point lol. FSP Group Epsilon 600w with quad 12v rails.
The point of the RAM is the headroom for OC'ing. If I can get 4-4-4-5 timings on DDR2 1066 and then loosen them to the average 5-5-5-15 that is typical in DDR2 1066 I may be able to hold a 3:1 ratio on RAM:FSB which would equate to DDR2 1333 give or take, now thats worth it.
Once you get into Phase change you get into some tricky stuff and it costs nearly $1200 to do it right. $ 900 for the cooler, another $200 for a custome Lian Li case to fit with the LightSpeed cooler, then the extra hours to protect the computer from condensation. Then $50-60 for shipping.
The lian li case is for the room. I've seen a P180 and its a good mid size case, but if I am going to do this, I'm goin all the way. I am going to use the room. 2 pumps, 2 radiators, 2 resevoirs, 2 sets of tubing, 4 water blocks.
Hmm very suspicious: overclockers.co.uk. now says Conro is arriving August 2006. I could have sworn it originaly said arriving the 24th of July, then changed it week commencing the 24th, now August, which could be anytime.
Seeing as this changes the purchase I made, I'm going to cancel the order. I really don't like being jerked around. Conro can wait!
