Upgrade 1GB ram to 2GB ram laptop msi

how i want upgarade my laptop msi cr410 from 1GB ram To 2GB ram.

Your laptop has DDR3 1066MHz RAM. I would open it to find the number of pins and then search for RAM with the same specs: DDR3, 1066 MHz with the same number of pins. I think you will need two 1 GB modules to get the 2GB RAM you want.

It has occurred on occasion when upgrading memory, the operating system needed to be reloaded (in upgrade mode) to configure the new memory. This does not erase your personal files.
Just in case this happens, back up all your files first onto a DVD or thumb drive, etc...BEFORE upgrading the memory, and have the operating system installation disk handy...
