This is just going to be my "when I can't use my Mac" system. It's for games, maybe music because I have a 5.1 card to put into it, and just for general cool stuff that I can't use my Mac for! Give me your opinions, I want this computer to last for a while without completely making me broke.

Specs look okay, except (although a lot more money) you should try and get PC6400 RAM, as AM2 really makes use of(and thrives on) the higher bandwidth.

looks good, try n get ddr2 800 or get s939 and then get drr400, because am2 runs best at ddr2 800 speeds, while s939 runs awexome at ddr400, but then if u tend to upgrade go am2 and GET ddr2 800, trust me, u will thank me once u pgrade.

Yeah, I'd consider the DDR2-800, just seeing as it'd be the top of the line. But now I don't think AM2 is necessary if I can just get an S939 and not empty my wallet on ram.

No, it would be a shame to get 939. The end of the line for 939 is FX62 and there is much better X2's around the corner for cheap.
DDR2-800 is a must, dont even consider 667. Cas 3 or 4 minimum, dont buy cas 5.
Enjoy!
DDR2 800 is almost a must, but CAS3 is expensive as hell, therefore some good PC6400 @ 4-4-4-12 will provide the best perfomance/$. And yes, steer clear of CAS5.
