Yesterday my chipset fan on my A8N-SLI D. just fell of. The thing witch stucks the fan to the motherboard just broke off. I really don't se how it could happend..

So today I've got myself a new fan, it's connected and all that, but when I start the computer now, it acts really strange, it's all slow and stuff.
And I get a blue-screen right after the winxp logo during boot. The pc restart to fast so I cant get a look at the error.

Im totaly fustrated and I don't know what to do. Got any tips or hints? Or maybe got same problem?

thanks.

Get into Safe Mode. Then right click My Computer, select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab and click Settings under Startup and Recovery. Uncheck the Automatically Restart box, click Apply and OK. Reboot and let the computer boot normally. This time it won't reboot right away giving you time to get the error code.
