I have had this printer for 5 years with great results using non-Epson
ink. I have started to get blue horizontal striping or banding through
the length of the photo, tried all settings. It has worked well since
upgrading to SP2 but I still checked/updated driver just incase. I am
ready to pull out what little hair I have left so please help. Oh and
guess what! I had just purchased 6 colour carts, so if it is knacked I
am well out of pocket.

TIA

Tom

How about creating your own printer profile.

E-mail Arthur Entlich at e-printerhelp@mvps.org
Ask him for a copy of his Epson Head cleaning manual, that will explain ways to
recover what sounds like a clogged head from your description of the problem.

I don't think a printer profile will correct this problem, it is likely
a head failure, but until I get a clearer description, I can't be sure.
