From some reason I have %70 of my migrated users that went from NT4.0 to 2003
complaining about there computers are now going into hibernation and then
when it comes out of hibernation, they are losing network connectivity. I
didnt change any hibernation settings in my defauly domain policy but was
wondering where I should check in my default policy or maybe this is some
kind of other issue. It just doesnt make sense that its not all my users
though. I dont even want the computers to hibernate. I checked the local
clients and they are set to not hibernate.

Thanks

hello jerry,

I would like to know what all policies are defined on your domain. if they
are only default domain and default domain controller policy then you don;t
need to do anything..otherwise you can try to put a policy in the test
enviroment and see does it works. it could be that they are getting these
settings from some policy. also i would suggest to check the power scheme of
a problematic machine and see what does it says.
