Yes. There hasn't even been any discussions about what would replace the PCI-e interface yet.

PCIe no doubt, despite what the AMD fanboys will tell you about some mythical socket solution that might appear in 2 years time (once we have DX11)

NO. They will only work with the special DX10 slot. :roll: :roll:

Yes, DX10 cards will be PCI-E, so they will work with any PCI-E mobo.

In cpu mag a while back just before the 7900 series release they had an article (small headline) about pci-e x17 that used 1 extra pin? I never heard about it since then.

An extra pin??? It isn't called PCIe 16x because it has 16 "pins". It is 16 "lanes" of PCIe bandwith. (each lane being ~250Mbps.) 16 x 250 = 4Gbps.
