Now see here, the wizard Divayth Fyr gives you (the would-be Nerevarine)
a potion that removes your corprus symptoms, but then he says you still
have corprus. If so, it's not really a ~cure~ is it?

You no longer suffer from the bad effects, but you still have the good
effects of corprus. The question that is not addressed and that remains
unanswered is: are you still contagious?

My current character, Lord Luc Outte, is the first character I ever
played that even cared about such niceties. He wanted to ask, but alas,
that question is not in the list of available choices.

I would assume that communicability would be among the bad effects of
corprus. Therefore, if Fyr's "cure" removes all the bad effects, it would
remove the ability to spread the disease. Hopefully that will put His
Lordship at ease. :-)

If your character does not know neither does any one else. Before you
get the "cure" people mention that you need to get cured, afterwards no
mention is made. Its almost like if you were taking steroids and quit.
You would still have some of the manifestations of the steroids but
some of the other effects would go away.

No and yes, IIRC.

I believe his "cure" leaves you with only the positive effects of corpus,
but also a common disease of some sort. The corpus isn't contagious, but
you must still cure the common disease. (normal spell or potion)

It's been a while since I bothered with the main quest, so I could be
mistaken here. My last character may have had both diseases to begin
with, and I just didn't notice it because of the corpus.

Whenever you have a communicable disease everyone says "Don't come near
me! Stay right away! Far away!" or something similar. When you have
corprus that has been cured of bad effects, no-one says that to you, so
it musn't be contagious anymore.
