Active Server 2000 and maximum license number reached

What happens when the maximum number of allowed licences with workstation
numbers is reached?
Can you delete computers from the active directory and change them if
required?
Does it just not allow more to be added or does it have other issues such
closing all access ?
I know this sounds paranoid but I have had strange events occur beore.

The number of AD Computer objects is not considerable.

You have a server. For example there are 10 clients licenses. So only 10 clients can connect to the server AT THE SAME TIME. No other restrictions...
