I'm trying to hold out for a few (6-12?) months until the Conroe CPU/MB pricing/availability/consumer experience/bugs work out before I upgrade.

I have a DFI LANPARTY NFII Ultra B (AMD AthlonXP CPU) I want to configure/overclock. I currently have two sets of 512Kb of dual channel memory (2x256): Crucial BALLISTIX DDR3200 CL2 (MICRON 5B g chips), and Corsair TwinX CMX2556A-3200LL CL2 (Winbond BH-5, currently in an ABIT NF7-S running at DDR440 = 2x220MHz, AMD AthlonXP 1700+ @2320MHz air-cooled). Would the Crucial BALLISTIX or Corsair TwinX overclock better in the DFI MB?

I was also thinking about maybe putting a couple of bucks into more memory (I keep the systems and pass them down to my kids). I see that NEWEGG has 1Gb of Dual channel Corsair PC3200 for $82 this week. Could someone knowledgable about the DFI MB comment on this or other memory in this situation. I don't play a lot of games, but I'm getting more into digital photos (&editing), and making movies.

Thanx in advance.
