New Gigabyte Budget/Micro Board

For those of you who want a cheap conroe board to hold you over till nforce 590 or some such:

No offense, but it doesn't even support most Cores, supports a max FSB of 800, which is the lowest of the lowest Core's. It says it supports Core 2 Duo, but maxes out at 800.

Again, not trying to be rude, but it doesn't even have a PCI-e x16 slot, supports a max of 533 memory. Great office board, though.

It's a 945 chipset board. Conroe needs 965/975 with BIOS specs for low CPU voltage operation. I doubt this one will work with conroe...

It isn't exclusive to the 975 or 965 boards, but those are really the only boards you would want to buy for a conroe in the long-run.

Even as a temp board, it doesn't seem like a good deal. Maybe if it was under $50 but $70 is too much. It seems like a great deal for a Pentium CPU, but I wouldn't buy it for a Conroe, even as a temp. One of the first Core 2 Duo supporting mATX boards I've seen, though.
