Need a Flatpanel

Im looking for an LCD flatpanel. I've got about 250$ to spend and im looking for widescreen, So far im considering a DELL 19" or a Hanns G 19" widescreen. I noticed the resolution is higher on the Dell then the Hanns G, would i be better off w/a regular size w/a higher resolution or with a Widescreen w/lower resolution? and would the lower resolution be more apparent on the widescreen?

You're bettter off with these two:

ViewSonic VA1912wb Black 19" DVI 8ms Widescreen

or

Acer AL1916W Black 19" 8ms Widescreen

I'd choose the Viewsonic personally because it's known to be the best LCD for gamers.

Depending what your using it for, if you will just be playing games on the computer then the viewsonic is a good pick. But you are going to hook up digtial cable, xbox, game cube, playstation and or dvd player then the dell will be right for you. I have the 24'' widescreen dell and I have all of these hooked up to it and it is awsome to have one monitor for everything.

Yes, unless you like any game based on the doom3 engine which supports 16:9 and 16:10 but does not support any resolution above 1600x1200
