This is a bit odd, but I just bought a E6600 and everything seems to be on the up and up. We'll see though. Tigerdirect has always been very reliable.

Tigerdirect said they would show them online at 3pm, but they put them up earlier and they're all sold out already. WOW. omg, this was how I was going to order it. I already called and confirmed it with a lady.

Ordered my 6600 about 5 minutes ago, hoping it works, :) If not, I saw BLT was getting pre-orders for ones coming the 4th, also shows how many they ordered, and how many they've sold.

lol rip off on that board. costing 400 bucks what the heck.

makes me think the price performance ratio is out of the wack. i should go with amd or either wait a bit because prices for that board is ugly

How is that a rip off? The board normally costs $250 and right now an E6300 is going for $210 at best. With the combo you get both for $400. I am not saying the motherboard is a great performer, though it could be for all I know, i was just pointing out that if someone was considering a Core 2 and that specific motherboard that is the best place to buy it.

You paid $599 for a E6700 8O
Ouch you got ripped.
How much you paying for a mobo? A lot I bet.
Still no Nforce5 or SLI boards available for conroe? What ajoke, considering conroe is out today.

ripped? i don't think so, they're going to be at best $565 elsewhere after the rush... so what, i paid $35 more to get one NOW? WHO CARES.

All they HAD was oem. Has anyone else been offering retailed versions? B/c they just tried to sell me a one year warranty b/c the oem version didn't have a warranty.

That really isn't too surprising when given the fact that intel doesn't have to wait for a third party to make motherboard chipsets in order to release a processor.

Thats why I'll wait. OEM processors have a 30 warranty. Retail typically have a 3 year warranty.

This product has a limited warranty of:
12 months for parts and 12 months for labor.
This warranty is provided by Intel.

:O I'm impatient, and already planned to get an aftermarket heatsink, so yay!
