China gives go ahead for Intel chip plant

The Chinese government has approved Intel's plan to build a wafer plant in northern China. The $2.5 billion dollar factory will make around 52,000 12" wafers a month using 90-nanometer technology. Intel has not specified when the plant will be built. Read more

LGE opens new PDP module plant in Mexico

LG Electronics (LG) said it started operations at its PDP (plasma display panel) module plant in Mexico on October 25, 2006, according to a press release from the company.LGE started building its PDP module faculties in Reynosa, Mexico in early 2006 with the plant to assemble PDPs from LGE's Gumi plant in South Korea. Ok, off topic it is....

Actually, I find it exceptionally interesting as a microcosmic example of the issue being debated.

People arguing, who is right, who is wrong, who should do what and why, and why thats wrong yada yada yada

The very thing people are arguing about in this thread is an example unto itself as demonstrated within this vary thread. People, will never, ever agree, and without some form of regulation, those disagreements will devolve to violence.

JFK once said "...Sir, we must agree to disagee" The meaning is still debated to this day, but I tend to agree with the more popular interpretation, that when agreement cannot be acheived, disagreement must be accepted rather than resorting to violence....
in short "live and let live"
