Conroe just hit the shelves

Conroe has been released so far at tigerdirect.com and the only the extreme edition is at newegg.com I may be posting in the wrong forum, but anyone that wants conroe, thought i'd just let you know.

WTF is wrong with NewEgg?!?! They are selling the Core 2 Extreme at $1,359 while Tiger Direct is selling them at $1,149, a $210 premium...Their AMD DC offerings are pricey as well.

Toms Hardware wrote an article 13 days ago (July 14) which shows comparison benchmarks with the new line of Core 2 Duo chips as well as the current AMD chips.
