I need some help.
My current systems is as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1Gb Geil PC3200 DDR400
Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 Mobo
Geforce FX5900XT 128Mb AGP
Antec TRU380SP 380W PSU
WD Caviar 120GB SATA 150Mb/S HDD
My problem is I would like to upgrade the graphics. My main concern is just keeping up with current gaming requirements. Do I stick with this system for a while longer and just upgrade the AGP card or is it time to go over to PCI Express?
If I go over to the new card I realise I will have to upgrade my motherboard. But what do I go for? My budget is limited to around £250.00. I would like to use the same processor and memory for now but be able to upgrade later and from what I have read I may have to replace the psu to accommodate the new motherboard and PCI Express card. I am not into overclocking so would just like quality branded components, reasonable speed, and be able to upgrade the cpu, memory, etc. in the future.
